A template contains a set of pages and sequences. Each template includes a home page and a number of sample pages where you can add your own content.

A web design contains page layouts and name styles.

How do I set a new page to be the home page?

Templates have a designated home page; new files that don’t use templates have only one page, which is the home page by default. To designate a new home page, make sure you are on the new page with the cursor in the page area, then choose Properties > Page and click Set as Home Page. A new home page automatically replaces any previously designated home page.
