Fax applications for Windows

Some applications won't work with Windows 2003 Server because, by default, it won't allow installing kernel-mode driver, hence errors when creating fax printer drivers. This can be changed, temporarily or permanently by following these instructions.

In this day and age, there aren't many fax apps left. Most are either network-based (corporate stuff), Internet based (like VoIP, requires subscribing to a service), or... deadware.

W2003 Server

Located as a fax application in the Printer section. It's very basic, but it might be good enough. Make sure the modem is set to handle incoming and/or outgoing faxes. (CHECK) It might be necessary to launch the client application at boot time.
